Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station\’s service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate area knowledge.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station\’s service area preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Specific requirements for operating a company vehicle are detailed in policy 4-48. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license as per state requirements and have a good driving record. This is a non-covered safety-sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Availability: Monday – Saturday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Preferred Qualifications

Pay Transparency: $21.36 per hour.

Additional Details: Availability from Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
