We are recruiting for an Employability Trainer (Tutor) to deliver high impact, engaging and interactive employment skills to groups of participants and individuals via 1-2-1's and workshops. The groups will require focussed skills training such as CV writing, transferable skills analysis, job search and interview skill preparation to help them move on to achieve and sustain new employment.
Salary: Starting salary £27,642, rising to £29,407 (upon successful completion of your 9-month probationary period).
Location: This role provides support across three of our offices: Burnley, Blackburn and Accrington. Candidates must be willing and able to work across all locations, as this is an essential and non-negotiable requirement of the position. Travel expenses will be covered for journeys to offices other than your designated base location.
You will:
- Facilitate face to face and digital employability sessions to groups of participants and individuals via 121 tutoring and coaching.
- Select appropriate facilitation methods or activities, design and develop interventions which meet participant requirements to develop realistic job goals and career paths.
- Manage participants both face to face and virtually, encouraging participation and ongoing engagement with employability interventions.
- Work collaboratively with operational teams to offer high impact and engaging training solutions to meet a range of participants needs including mock interviews, ‘how to’ sessions and other work preparation activities.
- Meet personal performance targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and all Quality and Compliance measures by delivering high quality employability provision to participants, both remotely and face to face.
- Provide advice, guidance, and challenge where appropriate to develop customer’s capability in the recruitment process ensuring they have the necessary skills and confidence to secure realistic job goals.
