  • Provide support to teachers and staff by addressing the needs of children who require assistance to access the curriculum fully.

  • Work with a diverse group of pupils, prioritising those facing multiple disadvantages such as special or medical needs, challenging behaviour, or those with a statement of special educational needs.

  • Engage with children on a one-to-one basis or in small to large groups, acting as a listener, facilitator for learning, encourager, motivator, and role model.

  • Collaborate with families and the wider community as part of a broader educational remit., * To assist pupils whose additional needs and behaviour significantly impact their learning.

  • To support the school’s ethos and help minimise barriers to learning to maximise pupil participation.
