This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils who may face barriers to learning, helping them develop confidence, resilience, and the skills they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with identified pupils, providing encouragement, guidance, and support.
  • Deliver individual and small group mentoring sessions focused on wellbeing, confidence, behaviour, and overcoming barriers to learning.
  • Develop, implement, and review personalised support plans that meet individual pupil needs.
  • Promote resilience, independence, and positive attitudes towards learning.
  • Support pupils through key transitions and changes in their educational journey.
  • Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external agencies to provide holistic support.
  • Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive school environment where every child can flourish.
