About The Role
Featherby Partnership School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Family Liaison Officer to join our committed team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about promoting pupil wellbeing, safeguarding and attendance through positive engagement with pupils, families and external agencies. As Family Liaison Officer, you will play a key role in strengthening the partnership between home and school, helping pupils feel safe, supported and ready to learn.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate pupil attendance through positive engagement with families.
- Promote the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, carers and external agencies.
- Act as a key point of contact between home and school.
- Support pupils and families to overcome barriers to learning and attendance.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure pupils flourish in safe, secure and welcoming learning environments.
- Maintain accurate records and support effective communication across the school community.
