Head of Finance London (Holborn - 3 days a week) | Competitive salary Some finance roles are about maintaining the status quo. This isn't one of them. We're recruiting for a technology-focused holding company supporting a portfolio of innovative software businesses. Working directly with the CEO, you'll help shape financial strategy while remaining hands-on with the day-to-day running of the finance function. This is a varied role combining strategic, commercial and operational finance, offering the opportunity to make a genuine impact across a growing technology group. Key responsibilities Produce management accounts, board reports, budgets and cashflow forecasts. Lead treasury, payroll, VAT, audit and Companies House submissions. Support commercial bids, pricing, M&A and due diligence. Partner with the CEO on financial planning and business growth. Strengthen financial controls, governance and reporting. Work closely with UK and India-based colleagues across the group. Identify opportunities to improve systems, automation and operational efficiency. About you You'll have experience leading finance within an SME, scale-up or technology business and enjoy balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You'll be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, improving processes and using technology to drive efficiency. Experience of multi-entity businesses, acquisitions, governance or international operations would be advantageous, as would exposure to AI or automation within finance.
