What you'll do
- Collaborate with diverse teams to design and implement new features for a federal identity and authentication platform, ensuring they align with user requirements and regulatory standards.
- Enhance and maintain existing applications, ensuring they comply with the latest security and privacy regulations.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
- Work with cloud services to deploy and manage applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Engage in troubleshooting and debugging processes to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
- Document technical specifications and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Ruby on Rails and related technologies to continuously improve our development practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a significant emphasis on Ruby on Rails.
- Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining cloud-native applications, showcasing your ability to work in modern development environments.
- Familiarity with identity verification and authentication processes, understanding their importance in application development.
- Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail in coding and application design.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software on time and within budget constraints.
