Our client is undergoing significant growth and development. As part of a strategic review of their leadership structure, they are creating new senior roles to strengthen oversight, enhance quality and support continued excellence in technical and vocational education.

Our client is seeking an exceptional Deputy Principal to provide strategic leadership across their expanding FE College. Reporting to the Deputy Vice Chancellor (FE Principal, Apprenticeships and STEM), the Deputy Principal will lead and oversee all Further Education provision, ensuring outstanding standards in curriculum quality, teaching, learning, assessment, student experience and overall performance.

Working closely with senior leaders, the successful candidate will drive innovation, continuous improvement and exceptional learner outcomes. They will play a key role in shaping and delivering a responsive curriculum that reflects employer needs, regional skills priorities and national policy developments, while supporting the College’s wider strategic ambitions.

The role also carries responsibility for student experience, safeguarding, personal development and enrichment, alongside building strong partnerships with employers, sector bodies and regional stakeholders.

Our client is looking for an experienced and inspiring senior leader with a proven track record in further education. You will bring substantial leadership experience within a complex FE environment, expertise in curriculum development and quality improvement, a strong understanding of funding, policy and inspection requirements, and the ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams. Above all, you will be committed to inclusive education and outstanding outcomes for all learners.
