Actual Salary: Β£23,856.57 β Β£26,011.47 per annum About the Role As a Production Chef, you will oversee the daily operations of the Waterfront kitchen, preparing and cooking meals to a high standard. You will also play a key role in supporting learners, ensuring compliance with health and safety and food safety regulations, and contributing to innovative menu planning. Essential Criteria English and Maths at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject Recent experience working within catering Ability to communicate effectively with staff and learners Willingness to acquire new skills relevant to the post Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook high-quality meals for service in the Waterfront kitchen Support learners in a real work environment, providing guidance and mentorship Ensure compliance with health and safety and food safety regulations Manage food orders and collaborate with the Head Technician on procurement Contribute to theme evenings and open events, incorporating sustainable produce into menus Why Join Us?
