Westwood Primary School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive school community. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young children. The successful candidate will primarily work within our EYFS provision, supporting children\’s learning, development, and social growth.

Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: Westwood Primary School

Contract: Permanent, 31.25 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

Salary: ALT Grade D Points 8-11 – £17,928.39-£18,354.25

Summary of Key Responsibilities

• To work with individuals or small groups of pupils in the classroom under the direct supervision of teaching staff
• To implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities to pupil\’s responses as appropriate
