We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Hewell, working as a Hospitality and Catering Teacher. This position is offered on a full time, permanent basis, working 37 hours per week.

HMP Hewell is situated in Worcestershire, England, Hewell Prison is a Category B men\'s prison serving the West Midlands area. HMP Hewell offers a range of training and development programs, including vocational workshops, educational courses, and initiatives focused on resettlement and family support.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Have the passion and ability to motivate and enthuse learners
- Utilise organisational skills to prioritise workload and meet deadlines and targets
- Be committed to positive team working
- Have experience of creating stimulating, vibrant environments, which are conducive to learning and motivational for learners
- Have a track record of achieving quality targets and producing accurate and timely reports
- Hold a teaching qualification and, where applicable, a relevant subject specialist qualification (Hospitality or Catering) - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months
- Hold a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
- Industry experience is desirable
