Join us as a Business Development Manager, where you will be responsible for the growth and success of the FE Investments business, focusing on selling Model Portfolio Services (MPS) to financial advisers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our business by identifying and cultivating key partnerships, winning new business, and expanding our client base and assets under management.

This position offers a unique blend of strategic thinking, relationship building, and a deep understanding of the financial services industry, specifically in the realm of MPS. The role can be home-based, but will require someone who is willing to travel to meet clients across the UK covering Northern Territories from Darby up including Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Your key responsibilities as a Business Development Manager will include:

  • Developing and implementing a business plan for the growth of regional client numbers and assets under management.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with financial advisers through effective communication and understanding of their financial needs.
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets in line with individual plans.
  • Identifying and pursuing business opportunities to increase adoption of model portfolios with both existing and new financial adviser clients.
  • Maintaining industry knowledge and providing feedback for business strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and achieving the minimum recognised industry qualification to level 4.

You will need the following experience and skills to join us as a Business Development Manager:

  • You must have a record of fund or MPS sales across adviser channels.
  • You will ideally have existing relationships with financial advisers across the South.
  • You should hold a recognised level 4 qualification or be close to attaining it.
  • You need strong presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • You must possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
