Market leading manufacturing and engineering company are looking for a skilled Technical Author to join their team. In this excellent role you will provide publication support and technical writing, ensuring all technical documentation for current and future equipment is accurate, compliant and delivered on time. Moreover you will be responsible for maintaining and updating technical publications in line with customer requirements and industry guidelines (aerospace).
Responsibilities include:
- Review maintenance manuals to ensure compliance with industry and customer standards.
- Incorporate engineering changes when necessary.
- Create data packs and statements of work.
- Manage relationships with customers.
- Oversee review and approval process for changes.
- Support new product introduction activities.
Experience required:
- Excellent written English with an attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a technical publications role - ideally in aerospace, engineering or manufacturing.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience with publication software such as Word, Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator or similar.
