Field Service Engineer, Qualified Electrician required , Southampton based, Β£ 30000 - 35000 + car + fuel card etc.
Expanding company in the Solar PV space are looking for a Field Engineer who will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of a number of ground mounted solar farms. A qualified electrician, you will either have knowledge of solar farms or be looking to get into this area (training is provided as long as you are already a qualified electrician).
Key responsibilities include -
Maintaining the operation and production of the solar parks.
Travel to local sites as required for preventative, scheduled and emergency maintenance.
Provide high level support and maintenance.
Electrical inspection of the plant, to include DC and LH/HV sides of the production.
Testing and resolution of electrical systems.
Conduct regular visits to sites.
Adhere to H&S standards.
Work with the Senior Engineer to rectify problems and issues.
To be considered you will have -
Experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
A recognised electrical qualification - C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing preferred.
A can do attitude.
An interested in Solar PV.
A driving license.
This role covers a number of sites in the Totton / Southampton area so you must live within a commute of there and have a full driving license.
