Financial Service client is looking for a stand alone lead Azure Cloud Platform Engineer with excellent knowledge of Terraform. This is a senior hands-on Cloud engineering role where you will be responsible for the design, build, automation and continuous improvement of Azure cloud platform services in a regulated FSA environment.
To be considered you must have worked in a similar senior Azure cloud role in a regulated environment and must have excellent commercial Terraform skills and experience. The role combines practical Azure engineering delivery with technical leadership, architectural design input, engineering mentoring and platform enablement.
The successful candidate will lead by example, working directly on Azure platform services, Terraform modules, CI/CD pipelines, cloud networking, security controls, monitoring, resilience and operational supportability. You will be comfortable supporting Azure releases (Cosmos, container apps, etc), working on a variety of greenfield and BAU projects, supporting engineers, working at the architecture level and more. You will also have broad infrastructure and DevOps skills in addition to your expert level Azure and Terraform skills.

- Expert level knowledge of IAC and platform automation
- Used to working at a senior level with multiple stakeholders
- Proven experience leading cloud (Azure) engineering delivery
- Ability to mentor and coach when required
