FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Product Owner to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 12 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London. Our client is seeking a Technical Product Manager to support the FX Securities Platforms.

As a Technical Product Owner, you’ll be working closely with product owners, development, QA and operation teams in an agile environment. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational/coordination skills, and strong analytical skills. You will be process-oriented and have a good understanding of the product development lifecycle. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to adapt to changes. You will be expected to work with teams in India, Singapore, Tokyo, New York and London and build relationships internally as well as externally with clients, clearing houses, venues and trade repositories.

Responsibilities:
  • Own and coordinate the product lifecycle – Work with product owners, development, QA and operations teams to translate business needs into requirements, user stories, and deliverables across the full SDLC.
  • Drive cross-functional delivery in an agile environment – Support sprint planning, backlog prioritisation, testing, and release coordination to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships globally – Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (clients, clearing houses, venues, trade repositories) to align priorities, gather requirements, and communicate progress.
  • Leverage data and analysis to inform decisions – Use analytical skills and data insights to assess product performance, identify improvements, and support strategic product decisions.
About You:
  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Qualifications in Business Analysis / Product Management related subjects
  • Demonstrate experience of working in a product management environment
  • Good knowledge of requirements elicitation, structured analysis, requirement documentation, stakeholder management, use case and user story definition and other business analysis techniques
  • Commercial awareness and financial services experience.
  • Strong Analytical Communication skills
  • Data Analytics experience
