FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Technical Business Analyst to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 5-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in Leeds.
Our client is seeking a Technical Business Analyst who will work on a complex data and systems migration programme. The successful candidate will bridge technical and business domains, supporting a transition from legacy systems to new architecture, including DynamoDB and API-driven integrations.
Responsibilities
- Elicit and document complex functional and non-functional requirements
- Create detailed data mapping documents between legacy systems and new structures
- Maintain clear \’As-Is\’ and \’To-Be\’ system/process flows
- Develop epics and user stories with testable acceptance criteria
- Lead agile workshops to resolve technical and integration challenges
- Communicate effectively with technical teams and senior business stakeholders
- Support assurance processes and produce artefacts like feasibility reports and options analyses
