About The Role FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Devops Engineer to work for our client within the Banking sector.
This is initially a 12 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.
We are looking for an application Dev Ops engineer responsible for developing and supporting regulatory risk solutions across fixed income, currencies, commodities and equities.
The role will focus on managing and improving a large-scale risk calculation plant used for end-of-day and on-demand risk generation, with emphasis on production stability, application resiliency, capacity management, tooling and regulatory compliance.
The member will work closely with globally dispersed developers, Dev Ops, release management, Quartz Dev Ops, Technology Infrastructure and business-aligned risk teams to support scalable risk reporting and generation services.
The environment is primarily Quartz, the bank’s next generation trading and risk platform, with development taking place largely in Python and some C++ for high-performance components.
