FDM is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in Foreign Exchange (FX) to support strategic, regulatory and technology-driven change across our global financial services client. This is initially a 12 month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.
The ideal candidate will possess strong product knowledge across FX Swaps, Futures and Options, experience with risk platforms such as Quartz, and the ability to operate across trading, risk, payments and analytics functions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end business analysis for FX-related initiatives, ensuring requirements align with trading, risk and operational needs.
- Document business, functional and non-functional requirements; produce process maps, workflows and user stories.
- Facilitate workshops with front-office, risk, operations and technology stakeholders.
- Serve as SME for FX Swaps, Futures and Options, supporting pricing, lifecycle events and risk factors.
- Collaborate with technology teams to enhance and integrate risk systems (e.g., Quartz).
- Validate system outputs, pricing behaviour, risk calculations and trade lifecycle events.
- Support testing cycles, UAT execution and production readiness activities.
- Perform data analysis, support data mapping, and partner with stakeholders.
