FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Product Manager to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 3-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Egham.

Our client is seeking a results-driven Product Manager to lead and optimise high-volume customer journeys, with a strong focus on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering impactful digital experiences. The role holder will be comfortable with being an agile leader and can drive product outcomes through cross functional collaboration, with a customer-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, focusing on conversion optimization and measurable business impact
  • Lead a test-and-learn approach, using data and customer feedback to inform iterative product releases
  • Embed agile methodologies within squads, enhancing team velocity and delivery discipline
  • Partner with UX, engineering, analytics, and operations to translate ideas into valuable product increments
  • Coach junior team members, fostering a strong product mindset and agile capabilities
  • Maintain a sharp focus on customer needs, leveraging insights and analytics to inform product decisions

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Product Manager, ideally in high-volume digital environments
  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks and product development best practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Data-driven decision-making with a keen eye for detail and commercial impact
  • Experience mentoring or coaching team members
  • A customer-centric mindset with the ability to balance customer needs and business goals
