FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Data Platform Lead to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 12 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in London.
In this role, you will own and develop data orchestration and governance to best practices as well as help with setting direction of technology within the company and be proactive with finding work that serves the business. You’ll also contribute to setting the company’s technology direction and proactively identify opportunities that support business priorities.
Responsibilities
- Support and enable Domain Experts through two way conversations and collaboration to have the data and technology at their fingertips so they can be winners in their domain.
- Manage and support the delivery of a constant stream of user stories from across the business (in some cases this role may own and deliver a specific user story, in some cases they will manage the delivery of it by tech people, in others the user story is really in the hands of the domain expert or end user).
- Manage the relationship and accountability with Sistema, Pinnacle, internal tech personnel, contractors, Macquarie Cloud on behalf of the client domain experts (These are our outsources tech providers).
