Our client is expanding their Data Governance function and is looking for an experienced Data Governance Analyst to support a growing portfolio of data initiatives.

Working within a small but growing team, you will play a key role in improving data quality, supporting the development of data products, and driving the adoption of data governance best practices across the business.

This is a highly stakeholder-facing role requiring strong communication skills and the ability to influence and educate stakeholders on the value of robust data governance and quality.

Responsibilities: Partner with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and business stakeholders to improve data quality and governance practices.

Identify, assess, and manage data quality risks across critical business data assets.

Support the development, governance, and certification of data products within cloud-based data platforms.

Define and maintain metadata, data lineage, business glossaries, and data quality standards.

Drive stakeholder engagement and promote the benefits of strong data governance and data quality practices.

Support data classification and metadata tagging activities, including governance of sensitive and PII data.

Collaborate with technical teams to embed governance controls throughout the data product lifecycle.
