About The Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Commercial Systems team in the role of a Junior Salesforce Administrator, based in our FDM Leeds office, to support the ongoing development, maintenance, and optimisation of our CRM, Salesforce. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their Salesforce career to build hands-on experience while making a real impact on how our business manages customer relationships and drives growth.

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide day-to-day administration and support of Salesforce, including user account setup, permission management, custom fields and validation rules.
    • Serve as the first point of contact for end-user support, troubleshooting issues and resolving queries in a timely manner.
    • Ensure data accuracy and cleanliness across the platform through regular audits and best practices.
    • Assist with testing, deployment, and documentation of new features, enhancements, and system integrations
    • Support user adoption through the creation of walkthroughs, training materials, and user guides.
    • Generate custom reports and dashboards for stakeholders when Power BI is not the preferred tool.
    • Perform data imports, exports, and updates using tools such as Salesforce Data Loader.
    • Contribute to weekly release updates through established change control processes.
    • Develop and enhance functionality using Lightning App Builder, Flow, and other Salesforce tools.
    • Help reduce technical debt by identifying areas for simplification and improved system performance.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand business objectives and deliver solutions that improve efficiency and user ado ption

About You

Essential Criteria:

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201 or equivalent).
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Lightning, including custom objects, formula fields, page layouts, and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with deployment tools and practices such as Change Sets and DevOps methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently to investigate and resolve issues, and clearly communicate solutions to non-technical users.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Effective time management skills; capable of handling multiple tasks and prioritising deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, including keeping up to date with new Salesforce releases and earning additional badges or certifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data manipulation techniques.
  • Able to work 4 days in the office.
