We Are Looking For
The Account Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of a single high-value strategic contract with PDQ Airspares. This role ensures contractual compliance, operational performance, customer satisfaction, and commercial optimization, acting as the primary interface between PDQ Airspares and internal functions. The role is pivotal in safeguarding revenue, strengthening the customer relationship, and driving continuous improvement across delivery, cost, and service levels.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Own the full lifecycle of the PDQ Airspares contract, ensuring all obligations are met.
- Monitor contract performance against KPIs, SLAs, and agreed commercial terms.
- Manage contract renewals, amendments, and scope changes in line with governance.
- Lead contract reviews, ensuring issues are identified, escalated, and resolved promptly.
- Serve as the single point of contact for PDQ Airspares at a senior operational level.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement, supply chain, and technical stakeholders.
- Translate customer requirements into actionable internal plans.
- Proactively manage expectations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage contract profitability, pricing integrity, and cost-to-serve.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and value-added services.
- Support commercial negotiations and ensure alignment with corporate governance.
- Track and report revenue performance and forecast accuracy.
- Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, quality, and engineering teams to ensure delivery commitments are achieved.
- Manage demand fluctuations, forecast accuracy, and supply risks.
- Lead resolution of supply chain disruptions, shortages, or quality issues impacting contract performance.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace regulatory and customer quality standards.
- Produce regular contract performance reports, including KPIs, financial performance, and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of contractual obligations and customer communications.
- Use data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Identify and manage contractual, operational, and financial risks.
- Ensure adherence to export controls, traceability requirements, and aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100 where applicable).
- Escalate issues appropriately and ensure mitigation plans are in place.
- Drive efficiency improvements across the contract, including lead times, process simplification, and cost reduction.
- Implement customer feedback into actionable improvements.
- Support digital or system enhancements that improve visibility and service.
