Responsibilities
- Receive and process quotes, orders, pricing, availability, shipping costs, etc.
- Communicate with customers and process RFQs, POs, returns, and order follow‑ups.
- Possess detailed product knowledge and troubleshoot customers’ needs.
- Create and build customer relationships via email and telephone.
- Negotiate prices with customers for potential orders.
- Effectively communicate with internal departments including Shipping & Receiving, Quality, Finance, Operations, and Purchasing.
- Recommend products and services that best fit customer needs.
- Review and accurately enter Purchase Orders (Contracts) to ensure compliance with terms, quality, and customer specific requirements.
- Be cooperative, positive, and respectful with customers, supervisors, and co‑workers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school.
- 7–10 years of sales‑related experience.
- Ability to read and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
- Strong written communication skills for reports and business correspondence.
- Problem‑solving and analytical thinking with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
- Knowledge of basic ERP systems and internet browsing.
