We Are Looking For

Please note this position is on the Isle of Wight. Our client is a leading global distributor of aerospace parts and materials to the OEM and Aftermarket segments. The Onsite Representative will provide a seamless flow of material and ensure that inventory levels are maintained in accordance with contractual requirements.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Monitor inventory by reviewing plans and making recommendations to achieve customer directed inventory levels.
  • Expedite and resolve any shipping, delivering, or ordering issues that may impact inventory replenishment.
  • Receive material from distribution centers to fill customer bins to ensure continued customer supply.
  • Monitor quality of material to ensure that the supply available to the customer is conforming and immediately usable.
  • Ensure that contractual reporting requirements with the customers are met in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate response to customer's ad-hoc requests including items such as requests for data, reports, and alternate sourcing.
  • Represent the brand and maintain strong working relationships to all assigned VMI customers at the highest level.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment; identify and report unsafe equipment to prevent workplace injury.
  • Gain a knowledge and understanding of products and value-added services provided by the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills)

  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and practices.
  • General warehouse management and aerospace experience preferred.
  • Proactive problem solver and strong analytical skills with demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines quickly and accurately, multi-task, and work well under pressure with changing priorities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
