Responsibilities

  • Receive and process quotes, orders, pricing, availability, shipping costs, etc.
  • Communicate with customers and process RFQs, POs, returns, and order follow‑ups.
  • Possess detailed product knowledge and troubleshoot customers’ needs.
  • Create and build customer relationships via email and telephone.
  • Negotiate prices with customers for potential orders.
  • Effectively communicate with internal departments including Shipping & Receiving, Quality, Finance, Operations, and Purchasing.
  • Recommend products and services that best fit customer needs.
  • Review and accurately enter Purchase Orders (Contracts) to ensure compliance with terms, quality, and customer specific requirements.
  • Be cooperative, positive, and respectful with customers, supervisors, and co‑workers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school.
  • 7–10 years of sales‑related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
  • Strong written communication skills for reports and business correspondence.
  • Problem‑solving and analytical thinking with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.).
  • Knowledge of basic ERP systems and internet browsing.
