Our solutions are embedded across hospitals, GP practices, pharmacies, and wider healthcare systems, supporting millions of patients every day. Our values guide everything we do: Better Together, Clear Expectations, Constantly Curious, and Health at the Heart. If these resonate with you, you’ll feel right at home with us.

We are now looking for a Clinical Account Manager to join our Primary Care team on a permanent, full-time basis. Applicants from all locations across the UK are invited to apply.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified pharmacist with experience delivering into/or working in NHS-facing environments or commercial health IT to apply their clinical and commercial expertise in a specialist, customer-focused role within an expert organisation. You will work at the intersection of clinical practice, digital decision support and commercial partnership, supporting NHS customers to maximise the value, adoption and impact of FDB’s solutions. Building on your existing knowledge and experience, you will take ownership of customer relationships while contributing directly to retention, growth and long-term partnership success. To support you in this role, we offer a structured onboarding plan and ongoing development, enabling you to succeed in a role that combines strategic thinking, customer engagement and meaningful impact.

The Role

As a Clinical Account Manager, you will be responsible for the ongoing success of customers using our OptimiseRx, AnalyseRx and CoordinateRx (formerly MedOptimise) solutions. You will create and implement account plans, analysing each account for usage, satisfaction and ROI, focusing on value realisation, retention, and growth. You will also support the pre-sales process and lead the onboarding of new customers to ensure they are set up for success. You will clearly communicate both the value proposition of our solutions and the benefits associated with maximising ongoing usage, overseeing a seamless transition from the sales team into deployment and then live running.

Additionally, you will:

  • Develop and nurture broad and deep relationships with key stakeholders
  • Create and manage account plans which measure customers’ experience
  • Become a key ‘voice of the customer’, helping to shape new FDB solutions and services
  • Support customers in achieving timely contract renewals
  • Effectively recognise and realise upsell and cross-sell opportunities

About You

To be considered for the Clinical Account Manager role, you will need:

  • To be a qualified Pharmacist, with current GPhC registration
  • Significant relevant experience in NHS-facing, health IT, medtech or commercial healthcare environments
  • Demonstrable project and/or deployment management experience
  • Experience in managing commercial customer relationships
  • Experience selling and/or delivering services into the NHS

You will also be confident managing customer relationships with a commercial mindset.

The Benefits

  • Competitive salary plus incentive scheme
  • 25 working days’ holiday per annum plus statutory holidays
  • Flexible option for employees to purchase up to five additional days’ holiday
  • Annual company bonus scheme
  • Health and Wellbeing Benefits
  • Electric Vehicle Scheme
  • Enhanced Pension scheme
  • Permanent health insurance

This is a home and field-based role, combining home working with work on customer sites within your region. You may be required to work outside of normal office hours with occasional overnight stays.
