If you thrive in commercially driven environments, enjoy leading people, and want to make a visible difference, this could be the perfect next step.
As Finance Director, you will be responsible for the effective stewardship of the company’s finances, ensuring strong controls, insightful reporting, and forward-looking financial leadership. You’ll lead a full-service finance function and work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver robust plans, support strategic initiatives, and continuously strengthen business performance.
Key areas of focus include:

- Delivering timely, accurate management accounts and statutory reporting
- Owning treasury, cash flow and working capital management
- Overseeing audit, tax compliance and relationships with external advisers
- Supporting due diligence and negotiations on M&A activity
- Driving high-quality decision support for the leadership team

- Managing relationships with investors, banks and group stakeholders.
You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / ACMA or equivalent) with a strong track record in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within multi-site and private-equity-backed environments. You’re commercially astute, confident operating at board level, and equally comfortable being hands-on when needed. You enjoy building capable teams, improving processes, and partnering with operational leaders to drive performance.
We’re particularly keen to hear from candidates who offer:
- Significant experience leading finance in complex, multi-location businesses (essential)
- A background in PE-backed or highly performance-focused environments (desirable)
- Strong leadership, coaching and team-development skills (essential)
- Excellent communication and influencing ability (essential)
- High personal integrity, resilience and sound judgement (essential)
- A proactive, energetic and solutions-focused mindset (essential)
This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible Finance Director role where your expertise, energy and ideas will be genuinely valued. The advertised salary serves as a guideline; the final offer will be commensurate with experience.
