A compelling salary and benefits package is available for the right individual. We are looking for someone exceptional and the reward reflects that.
A high-growth UK-based engineering and manufacturing business is seeking a commercially astute and operationally hands-on Chief Financial Officer to help drive the next phase of growth and transformation.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be at the heart of a dynamic, purpose-led organisation with a global footprint and a blue-chip customer base. This is not a role for spectators – we’re looking for a CFO who combines strategic clarity with a willingness to get into the detail and ensure the finance engine runs seamlessly.
About the role:
- Lead and develop the finance function, embedding rigour, commercial insight and financial control
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, shaping direction on margin, growth and cashflow
- Deliver robust forecasting, budgeting and reporting frameworks to drive confident decision-making
- Bring clarity to long-term project accounting, revenue recognition and product costing
- Support commercial and operational teams with pricing, investment appraisal and contract negotiations
- Own tax compliance (UK/US), audit relationships, treasury and FX strategy
- Contribute to broader strategic initiatives, including potential acquisitions and systems improvements
About you:
You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with significant post-qualified experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment. You thrive in fast-paced, growing businesses and have a proven ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels. A confident communicator and natural problem-solver, you’re at your best when helping teams make better decisions and move at pace.
This is an exceptional opportunity to shape a finance function and be part of a close-knit senior leadership team with real momentum. If you’re ready to bring discipline, challenge and energy to a high-potential business, we’d love to hear from you.
