We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join as a key member of the Senior Management Team, providing leadership, assurance, and continuity to an established finance function ensuring it continues to support impactful charitable work. Key Responsibilities:
- Finalise the statutory accounts
- Deliver quarterly management accounts, financial KPIs and cashflow forecasts
- Ensure full compliance with charity finance regulations (SORP, Gift Aid, VAT, HMRC, Charity Commission)
- Lead and support a small and capable finance team
- Collaborate with the CEO and SMT on budgeting, planning, and governance
- Oversee payroll, fund accounting, and financial systems development
About You:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in the charity sector is ideal, but we welcome applicants with a solid grounding in financial reporting and accounting.
