About the Role: As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will be responsible for inspecting damaged vehicles, preparing accurate repair estimates, liaising with insurers, and supporting the repair process from assessment through to completion. You will play a key role in ensuring repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and to manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess vehicle damage and prepare accurate repair estimates
- Use estimating systems such as Audatex, GT Motive, or Glassmatix
- Liaise with insurance companies, engineers, and customers
- Identify additional repair requirements during the repair process
- Order parts and manage repair authorisations where required
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and insurance standards
- Support workshop productivity and repair efficiency
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the repair journey
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator
- ATA VDA qualification preferred but not essential
- Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and estimating systems
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Full UK driving licence
