FCSA is hiring! Business Development Executive to join our existing BD team.

The Freelancer & Contractor Services Association (FCSA) is the UK’s leading non-profit membership body dedicated to raising standards and promoting supply chain compliance for the temporary labour market. Our purpose is to safeguard the long-term future of the professional freelance sector for the benefit of the UK economy. We\’re now seeking to further strengthen our team by hiring a business development executive.

Please note that current or very recent experience in sales on behalf of an umbrella services provider OR a major temporary recruiter is a key requirement for this role and applicants without that experience will not be considered.

The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle. They should be confident with building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.

Base salary £38,000 – £44,000 + commission + core benefits

They should have solid evidence of a clear understanding of the umbrella market, have a constructive and team-based approach and possess good negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with prospective clients
  • Maintain consistent contact with existing clients
  • Manage sales pipeline
  • Analyse market and establish competitive advantages
  • Track metrics to ensure targets are hit

Qualifications

  • Solid experience (3+ years) within umbrella company->recruiter sales (mandatory) OR recruiter->end-client sales
  • Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing
  • Demonstrable sales success
  • An understanding of the need for and role of compliance
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Technically adept and comfortable using software systems
  • CRM experience is preferred
