TAR Lead
Outage Specialist required for a Bio Power Facility - will maintain ultimate accountability for delivering the Outage. Elements determined as critical to Outage delivery can be prioritised.
- Use scenario planning to understand extent of probable emergent work.
- Engage the clients TAR team to define what level of emergent work should be included in the schedule and fully plan those scopes.
- Present TAR team with cost and schedule impacts for having materials, equipment, resources and documentation ready to execute emergent scopes during the outage in order to raise POs and comply with the procurement strategy.
- Support TAR team in building a credible level 4 schedule which includes contingency for emergent work. This will include assisting in gathering information from various functions and leading schedule reviews.
- Review previous lessons learnt and provide gap analysis on current implementation.
- Support TAR Manager in driving the clients gate and operational readiness processes in the lead up to the event.
- Drive regular reviews of the risk register and mitigating actions to demonstrate control over outage risks.
- Lead constructability reviews identifying gaps in risk assessments, SIMOPS, material & equipment take-offs etc.
- Support TAR Manager in implementing the management of change process.
- Support TAR Manager in putting the necessary controls and governance in place during the planning and execution of the outage, including communications and reporting.
- Support TAR Manager in managing the interfaces across the various vendors and ensuring materials, equipment and resources are available on site as per the schedule.
- Manage the execution of any emergent work during the outage.
- Support TAR Manager in delivering the outage against KPIs, budget & schedule.
- Support TAR Manager to resolve issues and implement solutions to bring the schedule back in line as risks to delivery emerge during the Outage.
