We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join our Mechanical Building Services team based in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to take ownership of the commercial management of M E projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered profitably while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation, submission, and agreement of interim valuations and applications for payment
- Management and negotiation of variations
- Preparation and submission of Extension of Time (EOT) claims
- Management and agreement of final accounts
- Full commercial administration of subcontractor accounts, including procurement, payments, and final account agreement
- Cost forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
- Attending and contributing to client and project meetings
- Direct liaison with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
