Receptionist wanted to join the Blackpool Urgent Treatment Centre!

Hours: Part-time – Shift times are 00:00-06:00 – This is a 24/7 service so flexibility will be required to deliver service needs.

Contract: Permanent

Location: Blackpool Victoria Hospital, Urgent Treatment Centre, Whinney Heys Rd, Blackpool, FY3 8NR

Salary: £12.60 an hour. Enhancements for Weekend, Bank Holiday & Overnight will apply.

Main duties of the role:

  • The post holder will greet patients and process information received accurately and be able to follow strict procedures and protocols at all times.
  • The role includes utilising the appointment diaries via Adastra and HISS.
  • You will be expected to work effectively under pressure in a calm & confident manner and inform clinicians of any deteriorating patients in the waiting room.
  • When necessary, to be able to complete stocktakes of medical equipment and complete routine administration checks when working overnight.
