The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

We are looking for an Administration Support to join our Diagnostics Service. Our Diagnostics Service provides healthcare screening such as Echocardiogram, Non-Obstetric Ultrasound, ECG and other community services at areas across the UK. We provide high quality direct access to all our patients.

To support Deputy and Head of Diagnostics with administration tasks to support assurance for service.

Main duties of the job:

  • To ensure agendas for meetings are up to date and correct.
  • To collate/review patient satisfaction results.
  • To support in consumable orders.
  • To make sure all audits are up to date as per ISO 9001 audit calendar.
  • To share/communicate with the wider team on learnings/lessons learned.
  • To assist in the development of systems to ensure continued efficiency.
  • To assist in improving the quality of information provided to patients at all times.
  • Working with the Deputy / Head and other key staff within the company to develop effective administrative processes, to ensure the accuracy of information.
  • To ensure all information collected is held securely and in confidence.
  • To answer the telephone in a courteous and pleasant manner at all times.
  • To undertake relevant training where necessary.
  • To respond quickly to requests for information in accordance with policies and procedures and to be responsible for following the procedures relating to data quality standards for health records.
  • To know how accurate and timely data collection helps the company deliver patient care now and in the future.
  • General office duties including photocopying.
  • To carry out other relevant duties as instructed by the Deputy Head of Diagnostics.

Person Specification:

  • Experience of working in an office carrying out administration.
  • Experience of computer programmes and IT systems.
  • Experience taking calls and dealing with enquiries over the phone.
  • Able to work under pressure and have a degree of resilience.
  • Able to demonstrate effective partnership/team working.
  • Information Governance understanding and awareness.
  • Experience within a healthcare environment.
  • Experience of clinical systems.
  • Clinical governance understanding and awareness.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001.

Qualifications:

  • A good level of literacy is required for this position.
  • IT literate.
  • Communication skills (verbal and written).
  • GCSE/O Level English and Maths.
