Hours: Part-Time - Average 19.5 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.

Overview of Role:

To provide a professional and high-quality driving service for the GP Out of Hours Service and a high-quality reception service at the Primary Care Reception. To follow strict procedures and protocols at all times.

Day to Day Duties include:

  • When necessary, complete stocktakes of medical equipment.
  • Using a Patient Record system; experience of Adastra would be an advantage.
  • Complete routine administration checks when working overnight.
  • Ensure full patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Work individually or as part of a team.
  • Undertake all relevant training consistent with the requirements of the post.
  • Be flexible in roles undertaken according to business need.
  • Be available especially on overnight shifts but with flexibility to work during the day when required.
  • Handle drug stock and replenish when used.
  • Undertake vehicle checks.
  • Report any vehicle problems to the appropriate person.
  • Maintain and attend all mandatory training.

Other Criteria:

  • A full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Over 25 years of age for driving company vehicles.
