Overview of Role:
To provide a professional and high-quality driving service for the GP Out of Hours Service and a high-quality reception service at the Primary Care Reception. To follow strict procedures and protocols at all times.
Day to Day Duties include:
- When necessary, complete stocktakes of medical equipment.
- Using a Patient Record system; experience of Adastra would be an advantage.
- Complete routine administration checks when working overnight.
- Ensure full patient confidentiality at all times.
- Work individually or as part of a team.
- Undertake all relevant training consistent with the requirements of the post.
- Be flexible in roles undertaken according to business need.
- Be available especially on overnight shifts but with flexibility to work during the day when required.
- Handle drug stock and replenish when used.
- Undertake vehicle checks.
- Report any vehicle problems to the appropriate person.
- Maintain and attend all mandatory training.
Other Criteria:
- A full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
- Over 25 years of age for driving company vehicles.
