We are looking for someone to support the Quality and Risk Team as the Information Governance Lead!
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time
Location: Newfield House, Vicarage Lane, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY4 4EW
Salary: £30,426 – £34,392 per annum depending on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities
- Awareness, Training & Engagement: Develop training on IG, Data Protection, and Records Management to foster compliance.
- Information Governance: Lead working groups, implement policies for secure data handling, and provide compliance evidence for NHS standards.
- Monitoring & Improvement: Conduct audits, manage compliance, and handle GDPR queries.
- Data Management: Assist with SARs and FOI requests, including records management and secure disposal.
- Incident Response: Review data breaches and support investigations.
- Data Sharing & Contracts: Review data handling agreements and liaise with parties involved.
- Cyber Security Support: Contribute to reviews and risk assessments to enhance defences.
- Internal ICT Oversight: Liaise with external ICT services to ensure compliance and support access controls.
Additional duties include covering reception during absences and adhering to quality policies. The role is based in Blackpool, with travel for training and issue resolution.
