Welcome to FCMS! The HR People Coordinator will provide professional, responsive and efficient coordination and administrative support across the People & Wellbeing function. Working closely with the HR People Managers, the post-holder will act as a first point of contact for many colleague and manager queries, ensuring that people processes are delivered consistently, accurately and in line with organisational policies and employment legislation. The role will contribute significantly to the employee lifecycle, support workforce wellbeing initiatives and maintain the HR systems, records and processes that underpin an effective People function.
Main duties of the job include:
- HR Coordination & Employee Lifecycle: Coordinate and administer all employment lifecycle activities including contractual changes and offboarding. Prepare contracts of employment, offer letters and related employment documentation. Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems and personnel files in line with GDPR and data protection requirements.
- Employee Relations Support: Act as a first point of contact for routine HR queries from managers and colleagues. Provide guidance on policies, procedures and employment processes, escalating more complex issues to the HR People Manager.
- Workforce Information, Compliance & Systems: Maintain HR systems and workforce databases ensuring accuracy and data integrity. Produce regular workforce reports and management information relating to absence, turnover, vacancies and other people metrics.
- Wellbeing, Culture & Engagement: Support delivery of Wellbeing initiatives. Assist with colleague engagement activities, recognition programmes and wellbeing campaigns.
- Payroll & Benefits Administration: Liaise with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of leavers and contractual changes.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build positive working relationships with colleagues and managers across all services.
- Continuous Improvement & Development: Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and service delivery.

Person Specification:
- Experience: Understanding of employment law, previous HR experience.
- Skills, Knowledge & Competencies: Ability to organise own workload, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), IT skills.
- Qualifications: 5 GCSEs A* - C including English Language or equivalent experience.
