We’re on the lookout for a professional and enthusiastic Apprentice ICT Support Technician!

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-Time

Location: Newfield House, Vicarage Lane, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY4 4EW

Salary: £24,307 per annum

The Service: The post-holder will work as a valued member of the Business Development Digital Team based at Newfield House, Blackpool. They will work alongside other experienced team members as part of a wider corporate support business unit. Much of your time will be spent on site at Newfield House in Blackpool. However, there is an expectation that you will travel to our various operational sites to engage with and support operational staff delivering services, as required. Those sites are currently spread across Lancashire and South Yorkshire. There is also the ability to work from home when suitable for the organisation. Working hours will largely be typical office hours; however, there may be occasions where you would need to work outside of those times to support operational teams or to minimise operational disruption.

About The Role: The role will involve supporting staff across the organisation with deployment, maintenance and problem solving for new and existing hardware and software. Governance of the hardware and software license asset registers will form part of this role. This will include maintaining certain stock levels of equipment and close collaboration with key IT partners. A certain level of existing IT literacy will be required; however, to further support you in the development of your skills, in-house training is available in addition to attending an IT Solutions Technician apprenticeship course.
