- Salary: £27.49 to £30.63 per hour, depending on experience
Main Duties
The post holder will conduct consultations to assess patients' needs and determine the appropriate course of treatment. Responsibilities include:
- Communicating with healthcare professionals such as nurses and paramedics
- Providing advice to patients and relatives
- Prescribing medications as needed
- Prioritising patients in the queue
- Managing calls across various services in Northwest England and South Yorkshire, including UTCs, 111, out-of-hours, CAS, and APAS
- Clinically overseeing calls
- Identifying the most urgent cases
- Generating prescriptions
- Referring or admitting patients accordingly
