Welcome to FCMS! We are looking for enthusiastic GPs to join our ever-expanding team. As a GP with FCMS, you will provide excellent patient care whilst playing an active role in clinical governance and training clinicians. We are a high-performance team with complimentary talents and skills, who consistently show high levels of innovation, focusing on the best quality of care for our patients. Our Services include GP Out of Hours services, Urgent Treatment Centres, and a range of other Primary Care Services including Enhanced Access and Special Allocation Services.

Main duties of the job:

  • The GP would work within our Special Allocation Service which is a GP practice for difficult to treat patients and those with complex needs.
  • This is a remote practice; however, face-to-face appointments are undertaken in the patient's community at a clinical venue or in our mobile clinical unit.
  • The GP would also undertake telephone/video assessments for consultations when appropriate.
  • We are a trauma-informed service, and this ethos underpins our services.
  • The Successful GP will also support our homeless health nursing provision in both Blackpool and North Lancashire.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide consultations and appropriate clinical management to patients attending with injury and illness.
  • Contribute to the Clinical Governance agenda within the specified location/Business Unit.
  • Engage with continuing professional and personal development.
  • Participate in Significant Event analysis.
  • Support the Management team and Clinical Manager to ensure all service KPIs/targets are met.
