Your Opportunity
The core responsibilities for the Commercial Analyst is the provision of commercial and financial analytical support. The key element of the role is to provide insights, validation and challenge to the latest commercial thinking within the business. This will be achieved through working closely with senior business leaders and the wider finance team. The Commercial Analyst has to be highly confident in communicating and working with senior leaders. Strong presentation skills will be key.
Ideal Candidate
- Degree level education and professional finance qualification
- Skilled in Power Bi, Power Query Editor or SQL
- A self starter with high level of ownership
- Strong business acumen having worked in dynamic commercial environments
- Excellent communication skills, including presentational and report writing
- Ability to challenge and influence senior leaders
- Proven financial modelling experience, (eg ROI and Payback models)
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills
- Team Player
