The Sales Manager has responsibility for UK sales for Life science markets where our products and solutions are commercialized primarily through direct channels. Identifies, develops, manages and retains revenue-generating opportunities for the organization through the strategic and tactical sales and support of all product and service lines. Directly, or indirectly, manages the process from lead validation to product and services delivery, working with marketing, customer service, operations and delivery providers to ensure the highest level of supply chain management is delivered to customers.

Your responsibilities:
- Drive Innovation & Growth: Develop innovative growth initiatives that best answer customers’ unmet needs and help differentiate and create strong competitive advantages and deliver on our annual growth objectives.
- Build People, Teams and Organizations: Build a high-performance team by attracting and developing talents by playing an active role in nurturing and attracting diverse talent and contribute to LMS’s employer brand awareness initiatives. Proactively support the development of direct reports and high-potential associates through quality career discussions and lived development plans.
- Lead through Commercial excellence / Continuous improvement: Challenge and develop the business capabilities of the teams in a manner which motivates the teams to strive for continuous improvement and organizational excellence.
- Models Humility, Transparency and Compliance: Develop personal and team expertise in key compliance areas that most relate to your role and responsibilities.
- Apply Insights: Contribute to developing a vision, ambition and a focused and targeted strategy that delivers sustainable growth and significant share win based on a deep understanding of market dynamics, future trends, competitive landscape and key factors of success and leveraging the global LMS strategy.
Requirements for the position:
- Experience of increasing responsibility within industrial and life sciences markets (instrument business vs consumables), or adjacent scientific products segment in a variety of service/marketing/sales positions.
- Proven (successful) track record in leading the commercial organization level of a technology-driven, solutions-based company of relevant size in annual sales. Strong experience in Go-to-market design, implementation & management.
- Demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking/planning as well as tactical implementation. Successfully designed and executed such plans within related markets.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Position requires intensive travel.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
