About The Role
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people? We are hiring two experienced Senior Residential Support Workers to join a respected childrens care provider at their homes in Chorley and Winsford. You will be supporting young people who have experienced trauma, neglect, or abuse, leading teams to deliver therapeutic, high-quality care within a safe and nurturing home environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise staff on shift, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Act as a positive role model and provide consistent emotional support
- Safeguard young people and follow all safeguarding and behaviour support plans
- Attend care reviews and advocate on behalf of the children
- Support training, mentoring, and recruitment of care staff
- Deputise for the Registered or Deputy Manager when required
What Weβre Looking For
- Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young Peoples Workforce (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a childrens residential home setting
- Proven ability to lead a team and support junior staff
- Understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding best practice
- A full UK driving licence is desirable
- Level 4/5 qualifications or therapeutic training is a bonus
