We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join our expanding team. This field-based role covers the Northwest and Yorkshire regions, supported by a dedicated office team based in Milnrow, Rochdale.

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform reactive call-outs, planned maintenance, and remedial work on small to medium-sized AC and refrigeration systems
  • Service and repair cold rooms, blast chillers, freezer rooms, and packaged refrigeration units
  • Work independently or within a team, depending on site needs
  • Maintain van stock and ensure readiness of tools and materials
  • Complete digital job reports using field service management software
  • Communicate professionally with clients on-site
  • Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota (with enhanced pay)

What We're Looking For

  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Valid F-Gas certification (City & Guilds or NVQ Level)
  • Proven experience with refrigeration systems and small AC units
  • Excellent personal presentation and customer service skills
  • Strong time management and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable using smartphone-based work systems
  • Able to pass an enhanced DBS check
  • City & Guilds 6187-21 (Hydrocarbons) or equivalent Essential
  • CSCS card desirable but not essential
