The Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Stainless Steel Polisher with hands-on experience working with stainless steel components. The successful candidate will be confident removing welds, preparing surfaces, and achieving consistent, high-quality grained finishes. Working hours are 6 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday.
Key Responsibilities
- Polishing stainless steel components to a high standard
- Removing the bulk of welds using appropriate tools and techniques
- Finishing parts to a clean, uniform grained finish
- Using hand tools, grinders, DA sanders, and polishing equipment
- Inspecting finished work to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a metal polisher, specifically with stainless steel
- Strong knowledge of graining and finishing techniques
- Ability to work from engineering drawings or verbal instructions
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
