Business Development Executive – Financial & Credit Independence
CareerMakers Recruitment are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our busy client in Accrington, BB5.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to target potential clients and increase market share in the manufacturing sector.
- Identify new business opportunities by researching and prospecting potential clients across various industries.
- Build and maintain long‑lasting relationships with key decision‑makers and clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet revenue targets.
- Provide technical and product support to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and production, to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
- Keep up to date with market trends, competitors, and new product developments.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record in sales within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Self‑motivated with a passion for sales and achieving targets.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A good understanding of technical products and solutions related to the manufacturing sector.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
- Knowledge of Salesforce would be desirable but not essential.
