FCI London is one of the UK’s leading contemporary interior design and luxury furniture showrooms. We are expanding and looking for a talented and driven Interior Designer with a passion for sales to join our dynamic team in NW London.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, multicultural team working on high-end residential interiors, offering bespoke design solutions and premium furniture to private and B2B clients across the UK and internationally. This is a client-facing, design-meets-sales role ideal for someone who is as confident closing deals as they are crafting stunning interiors.
Please note: This is a sales-focused design role. If you don't enjoy selling, this position is not the right fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, and client proposals
- Source and procure FF&E items, ensuring alignment with client needs and company processes
- Conduct site visits, take accurate dimensions, and attend design/client meetings
- Create technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD or similar software
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure project success
- Drive sales of interior design services and furniture solutions
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' experience in residential interior design in the UK
- Demonstrated track record in sales within design or furniture retail (minimum 3 years)
- Strong knowledge of FF&E procurement and product sourcing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Excel
- Detail-oriented with excellent presentation and communication skills
